Career History
Health Care Law: 2002 - present. I have advised health professionals on Stark Laws, Medicare rules, and written contracts involving multiple aspects of medicine. I have taught Health Law at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. I have been a consultant to the Maryland State Legislature on Health Care, as well as to National political parties. I have been voted one of 25 most influential people in Health Care in Maryland.
Medicine: 1977 – 2005. Practicing ENT surgeon and immunologist. I have taught at Georgetown and George Washington University. I was Department Chairman at a large community hospital for 10 years. I have worked in Africa and the Caribbean.
Economics – I have advised health insurance companies and countries on health economic issues.
